Aspera Shares - Strong Password length and Complextity - more than 8 length

Currently, Aspera Shares password option provides strong password length at least 6.

Almost the customers have requirement for password option which is configurable or the password length should be at least 8 characters which contain one Capital letter and number and special characters.

    Shares does not expose a way to change the password complexity requirement. Shares is going through redesign that will be in a future release that should allow password complexity configuration but that is not released yet.​

    Would you please give any information how to make a code change to the Shares code to change the set length?

    If you can provide more information, I can open a new case for to change the set length.

    Hi - If you leverage SAML, you can configure the password length and complexity to your requirement. This would be the most elegant method. You can also, make a code change to the Shares code to change the set length. Please reach out to Support if you have questions.
