This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Idea / RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this enhancement request. As the raiser will be aware, the ACE FileOutput node allows the user to exploit settings in the LocalEnvironment tree when passing messages into the node in a flow which specify "Precommand" and "Postcommand" actions which should be executed either side of the file transfer itself:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/app-connect/12.0?topic=node-local-environment-overrides-remote-server-fileoutput
The above page documents the settings for:
LocalEnvironment/Destination/File/Remote/Precommand
LocalEnvironment/Destination/File/Remote/Postcommand
... which include RENAME, DELETE, MKDIR, RMDIR, CD and CDUP which are supported for FTP and SFTP
... and include SITE and QUOTE which are supported for FTP only.
The idea suggests the use of a solution which sounds very similar to this stackoverflow post which is related to the same JSch library on which the ACE file node capabilities have been built:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/39148105/can-jsch-sftp-support-site-commands-like-lrecl-or-blksize
So - we agree that an extension of the syntax of the LE overrides to help expose a solution of the above form sounds a sensible method in which to achieve the usecase in a manner consistent with the current file node capabilities.
Status of the idea is updated to Future Consideration.
Hi Richard,
Thanks for raising this - moving it to the App Connect (ACE) list so that it can be actioned appropriately by the team.
