RSASSA-PSS on xml Documents

Our customers (in financial and telecommunication services) using IBM Datapower Gateway for message encrypting, decrypting and signing between applications. These messages contain confidential information, therefore they want to use the highest available security standards in data security. In IBM Datapower the most secure signature method is RSA-SHA512. Our customers want to raise message security level by signing the messages with RSASSA-PSS algorithm. The referenced URIs can be found here:
https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6931#section-2.3.10

    Dear IBM,

it would really important to have this feature implemented soon. Normally till the end of June 2024. :)
In Germany there is a new requirement of Federal Central Tax Office to sign XML content with such an algorithm like required of

    https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6931#section-2.3.10
    e.g.: http://www.w3.org/2007/05/xmldsig-more#sha256-rsa-MGF1

    Detailed information see:

    https://www.bzst.de/SharedDocs/Downloads/EN/dip_elma/Communication_Manual_DIP_Standard_1_1.pdf?__blob=publicationFile&v=5

Further it would be neccessary to store cert and key files with RSASSA-PSS algorithmen like this:

    Certificate:
    Data:
    Version: 3 (0x2)
    Serial Number:
    3e:20:c3:42:1e:a4:89:0e:f2:7f:1b:e1:5f:b2:26:15:13:46:45:9f
    Signature Algorithm: rsassaPss
    Hash Algorithm: sha256
    Mask Algorithm: mgf1 with sha256
    Salt Length: 0x20
    Trailer Field: 0xBC (default)
    Issuer: ...

That will be the new standard communication way for all uploads of the Federal Central Tax Office Germany.
That is why it would be so important to get this feature soon.

    Thanks and regards,
