We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive a notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
If you encounter any issues accessing the Ideas portal, please send email describing the issue to email@example.com for resolution. For more information about IBM's Ideas program visit ibm.com/ideas.
Allow Datapower to process element in the "usr" folder namely, "<XMSC_CLIENT_ID xsi:nil='true'>" in message coming from MQV9 client
IBM have examined the provided docs and was not able to extract the <usr> folder headers in readable format. They also checked that probe data and saw that the same input message is being parsed correctly when the headers are treated as MQRF...

Caching & Synchronizing Third-Party OAuth Token in DataPower
As part of day-to-day requirement, we come across lot many times where we need to integrate with a third-party token application. Some times, it's requested if DataPower can cache token generated by third-party and validate from it. The Quota Enfo...
Messagesight is going EOS. As replacement we want to use DataPower Appliances as MQTT Frontside Handler and therefore need an MQTT Client which can work with an MQTT Server the same way as the MQ Client can work with the MQ Server. The MQTT FSH mu...
Support "Log Timestamp Precision" for all log target types
DataPower does not yet support the "Log Timestamp Precision" property for all log target types. In some cases the usage of the Zulu timestamp format might be a workaround but this does not apply for NFS.
DPOD - Allow customized dashboards just like API Connect Analytics
Within API Connect Analytics, you can use visualizations and then map them to metrics with filters. DataPower Operations Dashboard does not have those capabilities. I consider this a huge missing feature for a product that has so many visualizatio...
The IBM DataPower JOSE library does not support numeric values for claims - it should according to the spec. We have a production implementation of the Open Banking specification. As part of this we implement the Message Signing specification whic...
We were doing some POCs using some MPG and WSP (Different POCs) . It seems we are getting better at doing mistakes or putting DP to a state where the domain crashes, restarts automatically and then all handlers appear in quiesce mode. It takes a l...
