Idea / RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this suggestion has been in state of Uncommitted Candidate / Future Consideration. This request has now been open almost 9 years, with the last vote received quite some time ago in November 2017. Since initially raised, the product does have support on the Windows platform for invoking remote services using IWA mechanisms. We also note the following more recent enhancement request which specifically highlights the lack of support for IWA (NTLM, Kerberos, SPNEGO) on the Linux platform: https://bigblue.aha.io/ideas/ideas/APPC-I-383
Given this, to help clarify future voting on the remaining aspects of the suggestion, we are closing this idea I-54 but will leave I-383 open.
Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Connectivity and Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB
Thanks for raising this requirement. We'd like to expand the range of authentication options in the broker, including IWA. If you favour one particular protocol style over another (e.g. SPNEGO or NTLMSSP etc.) please share through the RFE. Thanks!
