Support use of Microsoft Graph API and Oauth for Email Input node

Our Email messaging team is working to eliminate the use of POP3 using basic auth for connecting to our Microsoft Exchange servers and replacing it with the Microsoft Graph Email API utilizing Oauth for security. We currently have several applications which are using the Email input node with POP3 and basic auth to retrieve emails for processing.

We need to update these applications to use this new protocol and security which is not currently supported in ACE in order to continue supporting applications like this on the platform. The messaging team is not currently planning on supporting POP3 whether using basic auth or Oauth going forward.

    @Ben
    I understand that there is a separate request asking for support of OAuth in interactions with email servers. However, this request goes beyond the other request in not only allowing Oauth security but also adding an additional protocol which is the Microsoft Graph API. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/mail-api-overview?view=graph-rest-1.0.

    Thank you for taking the time to raise this enhancement request. We appreciate the need to support OAuth for the Email nodes, and we already have an idea logged in the system for this requirement which can be found for comment and voting here: https://integration-development.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/APPC-I-692

    Closing this idea as a duplicate of the above.
