Add the transfer speed bottleneck analysis features to HSTE and/or Aspera Connect (--no-read, --no-write)

A graphical interface for common users without admin skills to troubleshoot transfers bottlenecks.  Could be a completely different small app. But integrating it to HSTE, Desktop Client and/or Aspera Connect would be even better.   Basically, making --no-read and --no-write testing available to  everyone.   Saving time for everyone supporting Aspera transfers in companies.

    Hi Freya,

I'm glad to provide input if this can help make this a reality. We would save a lot of time for basic steps needed each time someone wants to know why their transfer isn't as fast as expected. Only a very limited number of staff on our side in production have the ability or desire to run ascp with the network/storage testing options.

Next week I have openings on Monday all afternoon starting at 1PM (EAS time), Wednesday from 2 to 4PM, Tursday from noon to 4PM.

    Daniel

Hi Daniel! We would love your input as we continue investigating what this might look like with the new IBM Aspera for desktop. Do you have any availability next week for a sync?

This could be in the upcoming Client app called Aspera Desktop.
