allow for direct retrieval of system error messages

this is not a new function but giving us something that you have taken away by removing book manager. we need the ability to get message information quickly, directly and uniformly in one place.. now some messages come back with lookat by MQ you have to go to info manager and search.. if we are having software issues error message retrieval should not be part of the problem!

We recognise that this is a valid requirement. However it doesn't fit with our delivery plans for the next couple of years.

As a result we are declining this Idea. While declined the Idea can still be voted, and commented, upon.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Integration
    Product - IBM MQ

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Connectivity and Integration
    Product - IBM MQ

The IBM strategic direction is to use infocentre (and the forthcoming knowledgecentre) as the delivery mechanism for all product information. This means that we will not be directly supporting the LookAt tool. However, we do intend to make it easier to link to the infocentre topics by including the message number in a predictable format for the topic URL. That should meet the core goal of this RFE.
