This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

RFE Review. As part of our policy for regularly reassessing aged RFEs we have recently discussed this enhancement request again. Unfortunately there has not been any further demonstrations of support since our last review in September 2020, and so on this occasion unfortunately we won't be taking this idea any further forward.
RFE Review. Given the length of time since this RFE was raised, the product and technology landscape has changed significantly. Whilst web services remains a part of existing integration estates, in general the strategic move towards support for RESTful APIs and Design Patterns has been the prevailing direction of travel in the industry for some time now. As a result, investment in web services features in the product has been limited, so it should be noted that progress on this request in the short term is unlikely unless it proves incredibly popular ... especially noting that an HTTP-fronted flow coupled with a File read node could provide the capability requested as an interim measure. However, for future voters on this potential enhancement, it would be useful to know whether your WSDL docs utilise imports and includes and whether a single or multi-file style is preferred because if we were to implement in this area a key requirement might well be for any ?wsdl solution to "fix up" URLs to macth the server's host / port (an activity which the SOAP nodes do today as part of the provisiono of the standard ?wsdl support in the product). Status of this RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Connectivity and Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB
