Possibility to add Java templates for JavaCompute nodes

When creating a new Java class for a JavaCompute node the user can select from four different templates. These templates are predefined in the wizard. In cases where custom code (e.g. inheritance of a custom MbJavaComputeNode class) is required the user has to change the code after instantiation manually.
Currently the list of templates is statically defined in com.ibm.etools.mft.jcn.model.JCNTemplate (plugin.jar) instead of getting them dynamically.
Today, the only way to use custom templates is to replace the content of an existing one in the plugin manually.

Idea / RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this enhancement request, and apologies for the length of time it has been held in the status of Uncommitted Candidate / Future Consideration status. In reviewing the current status here, we note that this item was created long ago in 2014, and has only received a solitary vote. The JCN templates are helpful for users as they promote good coding practice, and provide a good starting point to ensure mistakes aren't made in generating method signatures etc. It is also a relatively trivial task to start from one of the built-in templates and then edit the generated code / or delete / change the methods. Given that we therefore even have a means of satisfying the very small group of users who are not happy with the existing templates, unfortunately on this occasion we won't be taking this suggestion any further forward.
