AoC: Do not display hidden files in Aspera on Cloud

Hello. It seems that the shared folders Aspera on Cloud is exposing to our users is showing the "hidden" files on the NTFS file system. We prefer to have the hidden files not shown, if possible. An example of our scenario is as follows: A typical Windows user users Windows Explorer to view the files and folders they have access to. If they turn off the "Show hidden files" feature in Windows Explorer, they do not see these hidden files. Most users prefer this experience. When using Aspera on Cloud (website) to download files, the hidden files are shown, which the user is not used to seeing. Is there a way to stop this behavior so that hidden files are not shown?

    Also, the DnD upload method in AoC grabs hidden files as well. Since AoC needs to read and send a command to the Connect API to initiate the push, it could also have a "do not copy hidden files" option. That would also be a big help to our many Mac users.

    Thank you Brian. HSTS does support a regexp rule for hotfolder transferring. However that's different than reading a filesystem flag for "hidden". Still, we are looking at using it with some groups.

    Hi, our core (High-Speed Transfer Server) server currently does not support this. We will consider this for the future.
