Add an option to control the error log files in MQ

Currently in IBM MQ, there are only 3 error log files which are bring generated and rotated automatically when the server runs.

The files are known as AMQERR01.LOG, AMQERR02.LOG, AMQERR03.LOG.

My idea is to add an option, whether by a runtime configuration or by using the STANZA part in the qm.ini file which will control these error files.

The most important thing for me is to be able to change how many error log files to produce, which currently is fixed on 3 with option to change that.

You could also add support for defining the size of the log file which is also fixed today and stands on 32 MB.

This way we will be able to store error log files which will contain more data and for a longer period of time.

While we have no plans to change the number of error log files, as that could break many tools that assume the current situation, the size of the files can already be configured.

    See https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ibm-mq/9.3?topic=logging-qmerrorlog-stanza

You also have the ability to stream the log data to other locations - using syslog for example - which means you do not need to look at the standard error logs at all.
