Weak Password Policy

During the time of assessment, it was observed that the Password policy was missing for this application, as a weak password was accepted in the information form module.

RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this RFE and apologies for the length of time it has been in Submitted status. In general we find that most enterprises who wish to enforce particular password rules of the nature described would do so through a centralised corporate standard enforced by an LDAP implementation or similar. That said, we can see that some users would like the ability to specify such a policy for IIB/ACE to follow such as a minimum number of characters, or enforced proportion alphanumerics or extended characters etc. Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.

In web UI admin, during change password at the client side IIB Web UI, user must comply with a password policy. The password policy should have limited no. of characters and invalid characters shouldn't be allowed to enter in the text box. Also at the server side the command line options should enforce same password policy.

Password policy should be internal to your enterprise.
