Allow proxy authorisation credentials to be stored in the broker registry

Proxy Authorization requires manual adjustment of HTTP Headers, and this in turn requires storing the proxy-user & proxy-password in either UDP's or a UserDefined Configurable Service. Both of these store the password in clear text, and this is a security violation at most locations (banks).

Idea / RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this suggestion has been in the status of Uncommitted Candidate / Future Consideration. The capability being requested here has actually been a part of the product for several releases now (IIB 10, ACE 11 and ACE 12). Documentation on the specifics can be found here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/app-connect/11.0.0?topic=security-routing-requests-through-http-proxy-server-that-has-authentication-enabled

Status of the RFE is updated to delivered.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Connectivity and Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB

Thanks for raising. We don't publish the details of the format used to store configuration data. I'll take the requirement as having a well-known secure format for the storing of sensitive data, rather than storing such data in a specific place. This is a desirable capability to have.
