This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

RFE Review. Despite being open for a long time now, this requirement remains on our radar for the long term strategy of the product. With the move to container architectures, there is less demand for this kind of concept given that when using container frameworks the ability to make dynamic changes to a running container is less important than simply shutting down an existing container, changing the configuration and spinning it up again. That said, the architecture changes which were made in ACEv11 facilitate much easier analysis of delta changes to the product's configuration data, so there may come a time (either for purpose of those running outside containers, or for particularly rapid dynamic use cases) when this is prioritised. One use case which we are aware of where this feature would help would be where an application has several message flows with socket connections and the user wishes to make a change to one of the flows without seeing the other flows disconnect and reconnect their connections. RFE remains in Uncommitted Candidate state and we will continue to monitor.
Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Connectivity and Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB
An important requirement, thanks for getting this logged. I think this feature would be particularly useful in unit test scenarios where you make a small change to one component and want to quickly test it. We will investigate this as part of our next set of applications and libraries enhancements.
