This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Idea Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this enhancement request and for the wider detailed direct discussions you have been having with John Reeve regarding this suggestion and several other enhancements which if implemented could help you extend your designer flows to better meet some of your overall use-case. For the benefit of other readers, we acknowledge that the idea outlined here by Jeff would be for App Connect Designer flows to add support within the Salesforce connector itself to be able to continue when it encounters a processing error (for example, within a wider batch activity) which could then still be analyzed downstream in a subsequent IF block (for example). Whilst we see value in providing this feature to help meet your use-case, we are somewhat concerned that adding this type of specialized support to the Salesforce connector would not provide an easy way to help others who face similar requirements but with other connectors. Given this, on the face of it the future provision of the alternative idea https://integration-development.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/APPC-I-858 might seem a better choice of the two, as it would allow us to satisfy a wider set of users and usecases. Of course, as is standard with ideas, in both cases we would need to see sufficient traction for the business case in order to take this feature forward into development and product delivery. For now, the status is updated to Future Consideration.
