Show operation type and value in exception list for mapping node

In most of our projects a Mapping Node is used to for data transformation. If an error occurs it is difficult to find the cause of it.

For example, the exception list only shows “data truncation” as an error message, but doesn't show on which field or operation the error occurred.
So the developer has to manually check which field is too long for the target system. This needs a lot of time, if the database tables are large.

Therefore we would like to have the field name and the value printed in the error message.

    Idea Review. As part of our policy for regularly reassessing aged ideas we have recently discussed this enhancement request again. Unfortunately on this occasion we won't be taking this idea further forward mainly because without answers to the questions posed in the comment back in 2020 (regarding guidance on the catalog BIP number, and whether it is database specific etc.) the idea won't be actionable. If this issue is still causing you problems please feel free to open a new idea with the extra information requested and we would be happy to consider it further.

    RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this RFE and apologies for the length of time it has been in Submitted status. We are always keen to improve the usability of common tasks like the one highlighted. In order to help us make progress on this item it would be helpful to see an example of the map and data which caused you to raise this RFE ... Could you please supply us the BIP message catalog number, and provide the example GDM map and input data (including the protocol and message domain used to parse the data coming into the flow). Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
